Chu is a Taiwan-born animation director and illustrator based in London.
Trained in art from a young age, Chu creates vibrant, whimsical work that is full of charm. Through soft, rounded shapes and rich, vibrant palettes, she crafts imaginative worlds and stories inspired by nature,
femininity, dreams, ceramics, and psychology.
With refined technique and a keen eye for movement, Chu brings her illustrations to life through seamless animation, GIFs, and short films. Her versatile skill set suits large-scale design projects that require creative services ranging from ideation and animation to branding, merch design, and UI assets.
In the UK, she has worked with renowned companies such as Moth Studio, DixonBaxi, and Culture Trip, as well as other studios she's freelanced for. Before the UK, she worked as an art director, designer, and animator at Bito Studio in Taiwan.
