Hello! This is Chu.
I am a director, animator, illustrator, and motion designer. Originally from Taiwan, I now live in the big smoke, London. Previously worked at Bito Studio as a designer, animator and associate art director, and at Culture Trip as a motion graphic designer and animation director, I’ve gained experience in motion graphics and animation for branding, explainer, music video, campaign, editorial sector, ads, and more . And now I have been represented by Folio Illustration Agency for illustration and animation for over 4 years .
With animation as my BA major, I continued to study a master’s in Narrative Animation at the Royal College of Art. My graduation film, Minus Plus Multiply, has been luckily screened at various prestigious film festivals, such as Annecy Int’l Animation Film Festival and Animafest Zagreb, and won the Most Promising Filmmaker Award at the Ann Arbor Film Festival.
My commercial work ranged from animation, motion graphics, design branding, to illustration. Over the years I have been fortunate to work with clients such as LinkedIn, HP, Wired UK, Nestlé, BBC Wildlife, Pfizer, Google, RedBull, Kotex to name a few.
